CDA and its subsidiaries are pleased to offer a number of e-learning opportunities for licensees and all oral health care providers seeking added knowledge in a certain subject area. Seminars
Attend a seminar in your area to earn a two-year, five percent Professional Liability Premium discount and continuing education credits. The Speakers Bureau is a program for CDA components only to utilize in developing their C.E. program needs. Speakers for the Speakers Bureau are selected by course content, availability and applicability to the educational endeavors of our components. The Spot, now in two locations at CDA Presents, offers up to 35 free lectures

The Spot Educational Theaters at CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry in Anaheim will offer free one-hour lectures by industry experts during exhibit-hall hours all three days of the convention. With two locations of The Spot, attendees can attend up to 35 free lectures covering topics ranging from ethics to informed consent and from student loan refinancing to chronic wound therapy. Many lectures offer one unit of C.E. credit.

 

Deadline ahead to provide new sexual harassment prevention training to employees

A state law that took effect early this year requires that employers with five or more employees provide qualified sexual harassment prevention training no later than Jan. 1, 2020. Practice owners can achieve this new training requirement by registering their dental teams for one or two courses offered this May at CDA Presents in Anaheim.

 

Intensive oral surgery workshop at CDA Presents: What will it cover?

Faced with limited space in the CDA Presents program, Ronald P. Morris, DDS, MS, found it challenging to adequately cover the learning outcomes of the oral surgery workshop he’ll teach this May at the Anaheim convention. After all, the two-day workshop spans a total of 18 hours and is formidably titled “Everything You Wanted To Know About Oral Surgery but Were Afraid To Ask.”
