Become a Volunteer

Governing bodies are comprised of members of the association who are selected to lead and shape our collective futures. Serving on a CDA council, committee or board is one of the many ways you can give back to your association and profession.
CDA’s success depends on conscientious and dedicated volunteer leaders who:

  • Prioritize members’ needs in decision-making
  • Listen thoughtfully and engage in discussions
  • Demonstrate leadership courage in interactions with colleagues
  • Are committed to in-person meeting attendance
    (some remote participation available)

The application process is easy. Select the title of the council, committee, board, or task force to complete the application.
