The California Dental Association recently announced that its new president for 2020 is Richard Nagy, DDS, a periodontist, whose term began Jan. 1. Nagy succeeds Immediate Past President R. Del Brunner, DDS.
The January 2020 issue of the Journal of the California Dental Association features articles that explain why maintaining innovative research programs in dental schools in integral to preparing students for a dynamic future in dentistry.
The California Dental Association Foundation recently awarded Mattthew Mecheal, DDS, with its Student Loan Repayment Grant. In exchange for a commitment to practice in an underserved community, Dr. Mecheal will receive up to $105,000 over three years toward repayment of student loans.
